This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR transformation professional to lead complex organisational change programmes, helping some of the UK’s largest organisations redesign their HR operating models and create modern, efficient and people-focused HR functions.
We’re looking for consultants who combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery and enjoy working closely with senior stakeholders to shape the future of HR.
The Role As an HR Operating Model Consultant, you’ll lead the design and delivery of large-scale HR transformation programmes, helping organisations modernise the way HR services are delivered.
You’ll work across multiple industries, partnering with business leaders to develop future-ready operating models that improve employee experience, increase efficiency and support long-term organisational growth.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading HR operating model design and transformation programmes.
- Reviewing and optimising end-to-end HR processes and service delivery models.
- Designing future-state organisational structures, governance models and HR capabilities.
- Conducting organisational diagnostics, maturity assessments and workforce analysis.
- Working closely with HR, Finance, Digital and business leaders to align people, processes and technology.
- Facilitating executive workshops and presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Supporting organisational change, continuous improvement and capability development.
- Leading or contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids and client presentations.
- Supporting thought leadership, proposition development and practice growth.

You’ll also have:
- Experience leading complex HR transformation programmes within large organisations.
- A consulting background or experience delivering transformation in a highly regulated or enterprise environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn complex data into practical recommendations.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging senior executives.
- Experience facilitating workshops and leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Commercial awareness, with experience supporting business development, bids or proposition development.
